SB 492 (if passed) would expand the scope of practice of optometrists to allow them to be a lab director, testing personnel, to delegate testing activity to others within their office practice without proper education and training in laboratory medicine, and practice as a primary care physician without a medical license. Urge your legislator to say NO to SB 492! For more information, click on the Legislation tab at the top of this web page.
