STUDENT
FORUM - Friday
Laboratory students in affiliate programs all over California have
been invited to present poster sessions or Power-Point presentations
featuring their trainee research projects. All CLS, MLT, CPT, and
Special License students, as well as undergraduate students with an
interest in laboratory science, are invited to attend the Student
Forum. All convention attendees are welcome to come enjoy the
presentations and see that the future excellence of California
laboratories is assured.
EXHIBITS - Friday
The 2010 Exhibits will open
Friday afternoon. This is a great opportunity to see what's new in
laboratory testing. Meet the vendors and visit with friends old and
new in a relaxed atmosphere. Exhibits continue Saturday.
EDUCATOR'S SUMMIT - Friday
Three's a charm and this year's third annual Educator's Summit will continue to feed on last year's excitement. Once again, all educators of Clinical Laboratory Science Professionals are invited to come together to share their experiences. A great agenda of varied topics of interest will be presented. LUNCH AT EXHIBITS - Friday
As you come out of your morning seminar or meeting, go through the Exhibits and talk with the representatives. Identify the person in the picture located at each booth and deposit your answers in the CAMLT raffle ticket cage. Winners will be announced every half hour. Boxed lunches can be pre-purchased at $25.00 per lunch (see
registration form).
Fun-Nite

Join us for a class reunion - CAMLT style! Visit with old friends and make new while enjoying dinner. Bring your old CAMLT pictures, family pictures, etc. Show off your dance style from your favorite decade.
LAB-PAC
WALK / RUN / STROLL - Saturday
Get your blood flowing while networking and getting ready for the House of Delegates or Saturday's Seminars. We will wander through Downtown Disney - the gateway to the "Happiest Place on Earth." The Walk/Run/Stroll raises funds for CAMLT's LAB-PAC.

Join us for our annual luncheon hosted by none other than our own Legislative Advocate, Kathy Rees. It is always interesting to listed to what the legislators have to say and to have the opportunity to let them know about the issues that affect CLSs. Don't forget to bring your "mad money," check books, etc. for our annual LAB-PAC fundraiser.

The grand finale to this year's convention is a great opportunity to celebrate the successes of the year and our new Board Members as they are officially installed. The CLS of the Year will be revealed as you relax with good food, good music, and good friends. |
